Our speaker for February 28, 2024 was Allison Thomas from Rosecrance Mental Health System.
They have an office at 505 S Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee.

Our speaker For Feburary 14, 2024 was Amiee Ingalls, Village Administrator Village of PEOTONE.

We were honored to have Grace Bazylewski as our guest speaker on December 20, 2023 . Grace shared with us her love of the Polish Cultural and exhibits at the Chicago History Museum. She also led a workshop on the art of Polish Paper Cutting.

Great presentation on November 8, 2023 from Cmdr. Barrie, Bourbonnais Police Dept and what they are doing to keep us safe. Thank you, Cmdr. Barrie, and thank you, BPD.

Our speaker for October 18, 2023, is our very own Julia Mullikin. She was introducing us to our Sister Club and the town of Los Mochis, Mexico. She and other members of our club will be traveling to Los Mochis later in October. 

Our speaker for September 20, 2023, was Mayor Paul Schore of the Village of Bourbonnais, talking about the exciting Community Campus currently under construction.

Our speaker for August 16 was Peggy Sue Munday, talking on behalf of the American Cancer Society and the Road to Recovery. This is a program enlisting volunteers to provide transportation for area residents undergoing cancer treatments. For more info, go to cancer.org/drive

Our speaker for July 26, 2023, was John Bevis, Administrator, Kankakee County Health Department.

Our speaker for May 17, 2023 was Ashley Appleton from the Veterans Assistance Commission of Kankakee County. 

Our speaker for April 12, 2023 was Del Skimerhorn, Director, Kankakee County Planning Dept. He discussed roadway improvements underway or planned for our area.

March 23, 2023. Rotarians Jean Koehler (far left) and Jim DeZwaan welcomed Becky Wilder, Manteno Veterans Home Volunteer Coordinator, to our meeting this week. Thank you Becky for sharing info with us for volunteer opportunities, and for what you do to support our veterans.

Our speaker for March 8, 2023 was Deb Baron, who discussed the need for a sales tax referendum, that if approved, will be used to fund mental health initiatives in Kankakee County.
